What is Lipo Contour?
A device using radiofrequency (RF), Vacuum Suction with LED light for skin tightening and rejuvenation. Ideal for body tightening for areas like shoulders, back, abdomen, waist, buttocks and upper arms. It is also ideal for face lifting and contouring applicable for forehead, eye area, mouth, cheeks, jaw line, chin and neck. It can also reduce the appearance of wrinkles and acne scars.
What to expect?
Warmth: As the RF energy is applied to the skin, you may feel a gentle and gradual warming sensation in the treated area. This warmth is a sign that the RF energy is effectively reaching the deeper layers of the skin.
Mild Discomfort: Some individuals may experience mild discomfort or a sensation of pressure when the vacuum suction is applied to the skin. This is particularly common during body treatments where the skin is drawn into the device's handpiece.
Tingling or Prickling: During the LED light therapy portion of the procedure, you may experience a tingling or prickling sensation on the skin's surface. This sensation is generally mild and well-tolerated.
Cooling: Some advanced devices may incorporate cooling mechanisms, such as a chilled handpiece or a burst of cold air, to counterbalance the heat generated by the RF energy. This cooling can provide additional comfort during the treatment.
No Pain: Most patients find the procedure to be relatively painless or only mildly uncomfortable. Providers often adjust the settings to ensure that the treatment remains comfortable for the individual.
Gradual Changes: While undergoing the procedure, you won't typically feel immediate changes in your skin. The effects of RF treatments are gradual and become more noticeable over several weeks as collagen production increases and the skin tightens.
Relaxation: Some patients find the treatment process to be relaxing, as it often involves lying down in a comfortable setting while the device is applied to the skin.
Results:
Improved Skin Tightness: One of the primary outcomes is improved skin tightness. RF energy stimulates collagen production, which helps tighten loose or sagging skin. This can lead to a firmer and more youthful appearance in the treated areas.
Reduction in Wrinkles and Fine Lines: RF treatments can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, particularly on the face and neck. Over time, the skin's texture becomes smoother and more refined.
Facial Contouring: The procedure can enhance facial contouring by targeting specific areas such as the cheeks, jawline, chin, and neck. This can lead to a more defined and sculpted appearance.
Body Contouring: For body treatments, the procedure can help contour and tighten areas like the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, and upper arms. It can reduce the appearance of cellulite and improve skin texture.
Scar and Acne Scar Reduction: RF treatments can be effective in reducing the appearance of scars, including acne scars, by stimulating collagen remodeling and promoting healthier skin.
Signs your a candidate:
Sagging Skin: If you have noticeable sagging or loose skin on your face, neck, body, or specific areas like the abdomen, buttocks, or upper arms, a skin tightening procedure can help restore firmness and tightness.
Wrinkles and Fine Lines: The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, particularly on the face and neck, can be a sign that your skin may benefit from a rejuvenation treatment. RF technology can help reduce the signs of aging by stimulating collagen production.
Uneven Skin Texture: If your skin has an uneven texture, which may include roughness, bumps, or visible pores, RF treatments can help improve skin smoothness and overall texture.
Acne Scars: Individuals with acne scars may find that RF treatments can reduce the appearance of these scars by promoting collagen remodeling and healthier skin.
Cellulite: The dimpled appearance of cellulite on the thighs, buttocks, or other body areas may be improved with the use of RF technology and vacuum suction.
Facial Contouring: If you desire enhanced facial contouring, such as a more defined jawline or cheekbones, RF treatments can help achieve a sculpted appearance.
Loss of Skin Elasticity: As skin loses elasticity over time, it can lead to a loss of facial and body contour. RF treatments can stimulate collagen and elastin production to restore elasticity.
Desire for Non-Invasive Options: If you prefer non-invasive or minimally invasive alternatives to surgical procedures, RF treatments offer a viable option with minimal downtime and lower risk.
Overall Skin Rejuvenation: You may consider the procedure if you desire an overall improvement in skin health, tone, and texture, without the need for multiple skincare products or invasive procedures.
Personal Aesthetic Goals: Ultimately, the decision to have this procedure is often driven by your personal aesthetic goals. If you have specific concerns about the appearance of your skin and want to address them, consult with a skincare professional to explore suitable treatment options.

This includes wearing a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to treated areas if you must go outside.
Gentle Cleansing: Cleanse your skin gently with a mild, non-abrasive cleanser for the first few days after the procedure. Avoid scrubbing or using harsh products that could irritate the skin.
Moisturize: Apply a hydrating and non-irritating moisturizer to the treated areas to keep the skin hydrated and aid in the healing process. Look for a fragrance-free and gentle moisturizer.
Avoid Makeup: Refrain from applying makeup to the treated areas for the first 24 to 48 hours post-treatment. This allows the skin to recover without potential irritation from cosmetics.
Cool Compress: If you experience any mild discomfort, redness, or swelling after the procedure, you can apply a cool, damp compress to the treated area. Be gentle when using the compress and avoid excessive pressure.
No Heat or Saunas: Avoid hot showers, saunas, and activities that generate excessive heat for at least 48 hours after the procedure. Heat can exacerbate redness and discomfort.
Avoid Harsh Skincare Products: Steer clear of skincare products that contain strong active ingredients, such as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), retinoids, or exfoliating scrubs, for a few days post-treatment. These products can be too harsh on the skin during the healing process.
